Andrea Sonnenberg is 20 and is a teenage witch.
MOSSLESS: If you could go anywhere in the word with your friends, where would you go?
ANDREA SONNENBERG: If I could go anywhere in the world with my friends, I would probably say to the woods somewhere. Camping with best friends can get wild and crazy. I love traveling so to pick one place in particular would be too hard to say. I would probably more want to do things with all my friends, like skydiving or deep sea diving and take pictures. That sounds like fun to me.
MS: Would you say your photographs are always spontaneous moments ?
AS: Yes and No. I would say that most of my pictures are spontaneous. When I see something funny or cool or crazy happening I’ll take a picture of it. But also, I love group pictures. When we all get together to party, I’ll take at least one group picture. Looking back I think it’s important to remember who all was there, where and when and how things happened. Maybe some people find that annoying of me but I don’t care, you know? Fuck it.
MS: How is San Francisco ?
AS: San Francisco is a wild city, there’s no other place like it. Sometimes it’s nice to get away, but I love it here. Wouldn’t trade my memories of growing up here or the friends I have for anything in the world. It makes for taking some good pictures.
MS: Do you have any photographer you really enjoy at the moment ?
AS: I dont really ‘pay attention’ to photographers per say, but Sandy Kim knows what she’s doing and is kicking ass at it.
